Just over 3 months are left for the start of the Paris Olympics. The 2024 Games will take place from 26 July to 11 August in the capital of France, and will see 248 boxers compete – 124 each in the men’s and women’s tournaments.
So far, 197 Olympic boxing quotas have been filled following the continental qualifiers in 2023 and the 1st World Qualification Tournament held in Busto Arsizio, Italy from March 3-11.
For boxers hoping to qualify for the remaining 51 slots left, they will get just one more opportunity.
The 2nd World Qualification Tournament will take place from May 23 to June 3 in Bangkok, Thailand, offering a final chance to win a quota for Paris 2024.
In the Bangkok qualifier, 28 quotas will be available for men and 23 for women:

57kg – 3 quotas
63.5kg – 5 quotas
71kg – 5 quotas
80kg – 3 quotas
92kg – 4 quotas
+92kg – 4 quotas
Women’s quotas
50kg – 4 quotas
54kg – 4 quotas
57kg – 4 quotas
60kg – 3 quotas
66kg – 4 quotas
75kg – 4 quotas
Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) will be allowed to enter one athlete in each of the specific weight categories per gender in which they have not yet obtained an Olympic quota.
Boxers can compete in Bangkok if they failed to advance from the Busto Arsizio qualifier, but the selection of entries is in the hands of each NOC.
